Shocker: Hamasaki Ayumi Deaf in Left Ear
Jpop diva Hamasaki Ayumi, 29, has revealed on her official fansite that she has completely lost hearing in her left ear caused by a problem back in 2000. Doctors had already told her last year that it was too late for surgical treatment. Ayumi had also expressed that she will continue singing as long as she can hear with her right ear.

Bill Gates Announces Retirement at CES 2008
Bill Gates is finally leaving Microsoft announcing his retirement at his last keynote address at CES 2008. He said that it will be the first time he is not having a full-time job at Microsoft since the age of 17.
