Shocker: Hamasaki Ayumi Deaf in Left Ear
Jpop diva Hamasaki Ayumi, 29, has revealed on her official fansite that she has completely lost hearing in her left ear caused by a problem back in 2000. Doctors had already told her last year that it was too late for surgical treatment. Ayumi had also expressed that she will continue singing as long as she can hear with her right ear.
More from the article here.
I hope Ayu will continue to go on strongly as before as I’m sure all her fans will continue to support her as always.

Misia – 忘れない日々@ Tour of Misia 2004 Mars Roses (Unforgettable Days)
Recently stumbled upon this JPOP artist MISIA on a random trial listening session at HMV. And her vocal caught my attention. The description on her CD briefly introduced her career and her wide range of notes which can hit the whistle octave! After checking out this live performance on this song, i felt abit guilty for doubting the info on the CD cover -.- Check out the part from 4min

PEACH~
A cover version of Ai Otsuka – Peach from Youtube. This song doesn’t really catch my attention until I saw this video. A different feel and taste from the original. Have you guys notice that certain words in the first 2 verses of the lyrics sound familiar? Especially the first line, 太陽サンサン. Does it sounds like 太阳闪闪? haha. Further down we have another 气氛浓浓~. Kawaii ne. Didn’t know Katakana can also be used on Chinese terms as well.
